We pray to Tiangong twice a day - Once
upon awakening from bed and once before retiring. What
is the reason for doing this?
每天至少拜天公两次，分别于起床后以及就寝前。那么为何要在起床后以及就寝前而不是在其它的时间拜呢？
We have a choice of selecting our way of
life but we cannot predict the manner and time of our death. By performing our
prayers upon awakening from bed and before retiring, we would have performed our last Prayer
should we encounter any fatal incident while awake or if we should never wake
up from sleep.
人有自由选择其生活的方向，但却不能预料会在什么时候死亡。于起床后以及就寝前拜天公是预防万一当天遇上意外或任何原因而身亡又或于睡梦中去世而错失了在去世前拜天公的机会。

Why
do we kneel when we perform our prayer?
为何拜天公时必须要下跪？
It is the highest form of respect we can
accord to Tiangong when we kneel down to perform our prayers. The Messengers
and the Disciples of God too, knelt down to pray to Tiangong.
跪拜天公是对天公最高的崇敬，而天公的徒弟或是使者同样都是跪下拜天公的。

When
we perform our prayer, why do we kneel down, face skyward, clasp our palms at
the solar plexus and removing our shoes with our soles facing upwards and not
in any other position?
为何拜天公时要朝天下跪、将合十的双手置于心口处而不是其他位置以及要赤脚并且要让脚板向上呢？
Kneeling is a sign of humbleness before
Tiangong, furthermore it is believed that in this posture our thought vibration
is emitted in the strongest and fastest manner. Facing skywards does not mean
that Tiangong is in the sky (in the direction where we are facing), rather it is
to ensure that the dissipation of our prayer is not blocked by any object(s)
(for example building or hill). Removing our shoes when praying is a form of
respect.
Tiangong is the creator of the Universe
and more than that and does not dwell within it. HE is in a void beyond the
plane of nothing that transcends the universe. Xian Sheng has enlightened us
that the Messengers and Disciples of God do not also dwell in the sky but in
the Plane of Nothing and none of them have seen Tiangong.
朝天跪拜是因为我们不要向着任何的物体膜拜。双手合十置于心口处是因为灵魂的出入口是位于人体的心口处。赤脚跪拜天公除了是尊敬天公之外，亦有助于减少脑电波发出的障碍。
朝天下跪、双手合十置于心口处，赤脚并让脚板向上的姿势所形成的形状是最快的速度将我们所发出的脑电波传达上去，这是我们的信念。也是先生教导我们拜天公的方式，而先生本人也以这种方式拜天公。
向天跪拜并不表示天公就在天空。先生让我们知道，不管是天公的徒弟或使者都来自空界。他们在空的界线亦未曾见过天公。天公是宇宙的万物创造者以及超越一切；天公要创造宇宙一切，一定是在宇宙之外，即是空以上。

Will other planets in the Universe obstruct our prayers?
传上去的脑电波不会“触及”其它星球吗？
The planets and other stellar bodies of
the Universe are the creation of Tiangong and thus possess Tiangong’s
consciousness.
They do not obstruct the transmission of our prayers, instead
they relay to facilitate the same. Our individual or collective prayers will
receive added boost to reach the destination faster.
会的。不过由于星球是天公的创造物之一，它们也拥有天公的感觉。而我们是以拜天公的经文拜天公，因此，即使我们所发出的脑电波“触及”星球，星球不但不会接收反而还会“协助”将之传达上去。

What
do we wish for when we perform our routine prayers?起床后与就寝前拜天公时向天公作些什么要求？
We humbly request Tiangong for the
following:-
(a) Blessings for all the Saints and to
elevate their status in heaven.
(b) Divine
forgiveness and alleviation of sufferings for the soul of our ancestors for
transgressions committed during their lifetimes and if deserving, for the
elevation of their souls to a higher (more blissful) spiritual plane.
(c) Blessing
to all our family, friends, living brothers and sisters with good health and
general well being. To grant our wishes in our prayer.
(d) If
we incidentally encounter roaming souls in unfamiliar places, we could pray for
them to depart from the dimension of suffering and return to the cycle of
reincarnation.
(a) 在默念了拜天公经文后，首先我们是：要求天公赐福给所有的天神有更好的地位在天堂。
(b) 接着我们向天公要求给本身的历代祖先：天公，如果我的历代祖先在人间时有做错什么，要求天公原谅他们、宽恕他们、减他们的罪，认为应该的，要求天公让他们有个好的地位在天堂。
(c) 此外，我们要求天公赐福给所有的兄弟姊妹，身体健康、出入平安，万事如意。如果我们本身有任何的意愿，也可以向天公祈求的。
(d) 在特殊情况下，如被无主孤魂骚扰，我们也可以向天公祈求给“他们”。如求天公让无主孤魂早日离开受苦的界线，早日轮回。

Are we
allowed to pray more than twice a day?
在一天之内，我们可以随意拜天公超过两次吗？
Yes, it is allowed. However, praying more
than twice a day does not equate to enhanced spiritual development. Our prayers
will be more meaningful if we strive to pray to the Creator with our mind, body
and soul.
可以。不过不表示拜天公的次数越多就越好。最重要的是我们是否是以灵感、肉体、灵魂拜天公。

Why do we
perform prayers at 4
pm every
Sunday?
拜天公的信徒为何要于星期日下午四时正拜天公？
Xian Sheng conducted his sermons after he has performed
prayer at 4
pm on Sundays. Collective prayers generate an added boost for the prayers to reach the Creator as
opposed to praying individually. Hence, Xian Sheng encouraged us to perform collective prayers at 4
pm (local time zone) on Sunday as it
is a free day for many and 4
pm is considered to be the most convenient time.
This collective prayer is done at the same time and while preferred, we need
not be in the same location.
先生于每个星期日的下午四时拜天公后才开始进行讲道、打坐等的活动。由于集体拜天公的“力量”比个人拜天公的“力量”来得强。所以先生鼓励拜天公的兄弟姊妹不论身在何处，甚至在国外，每逢星期日，当地时间下午四时正都拜天公。至于选择在星期日下午四时拜天公，则是因为大部分的人之休息日都在星期日，而且下午四时的时间也较为闲暇。

our prayers at 4 pm on Sunday according to the respective local time means that
the transmission of prayers is not simultaneous but once every 4 pm at every
time zone. Would it affect our collective prayer?
不论在任何国家，都于星期天下午四时正拜天公，即使有时差也不受影响吗？
The earth rotates on its own axis. The chain of prayers thus will
continue without a break with a domino effect, as there will be people continuously praying at different places according to their

compulsory for us to strictly adhere to performing prayers at 4
pm on Sunday?
If we are outdoors at that time, do we still need to perform our prayer?
拜天公的信徒一定要做到于星期日下午四时拜天公吗？倘若适逢在户外，也非要拜天公不可吗？
No. However, we are encouraged to perform the Prayer at 4
pm on Sunday. If it is feasible, we
should perform our prayer even when we are outdoors regardless of where we
maybe.
这并没有规定的限制，不过这是受鼓励的行为，可以尽量做到当然是最好。
